A Blue Ridge Mountain Business Retreat for Women

Margin makes the difference. Find it in nature, with women like you.

Does your mind ever get a rest?

Think about the last time you sat in silence… Did nothing… Watched your mind wander…

Do you even remember the luxury of boredom?

These small moments of rest are called margin.

Is it present in your life?

AN INVITATION

To Help You Rest

If the small spaces in your week between meetings, chores, and social commitments tend to be filled with Instagram carousels rather than contemplation, you’re not alone.

If you never hear the sound of silence because podcasts are always playing, kids are always screaming, or the phone is always ringing, take heart.

Here’s an invitation.

Join a small group of women for a business mastermind retreat designed to create margin in your fast-paced life.

Wait, I thought this retreat was about rest. How does rest pair with business?

Let me explain.

As a business owner or high-achieving professional, you understand the seasons (even years) when you’re emotionally treading water, your purpose becomes cloudy, and your “why” is a blur. Instead of working strategically, you find yourself living tactically, reacting to the onslaught of simultaneous “priorities.”

Maybe you used to define success as:

  • Being your own boss

  • Providing a comfortable lifestyle for your family

  • Having time for home-cooked dinners with the kids

  • Enjoying creative freedom at work, or

  • Making a positive impact on your community

But now, success is always one rung up. You face pressure to do more, be more, earn more, so you can have more.

It’s defeating, isn’t it?

Striving to meet others’ expectations may be causing burnout.

And with the way we’ve engineered our modern world (with constant distractions, mind-numbing algorithms, and incessant buzz), it’s increasingly difficult to hear ourselves think.

We struggle to pause, reflect, and ask ourselves the important questions like, “Am I pursuing my definition of success?”

And who can blame you, ***add distraction statistic***

Critical, strategic thinking—the kind with the power to bring goal posts back into focus—happens best when you make space for it.

Ah, there’s that margin concept again.

Margin is important for creativity, recharging your batteries, and shaking loose the piled-up thoughts in your brain.

Taking time to rest and reflect is not only personally restorative; it’s also necessary and productive for your business!

Your business can’t be at its best if you’re not.

So that’s why we’re committing 3 deliberate days to:

  • Time outside of the office in a stimulating, natural environment to inspire ideas, promote creativity, and enhance problem-solving.

  • In-depth Board Room sessions and unconstrained mastermind discussions throughout the trip.

  • Organic relationship-building the way it’s done best—through shared experiences.

This retreat is for you if: you need clear thinking, accountability, and support from women who share your values and commitment to success.

Come fill your cup with intentional conversations, sisterly solidarity, laughter distraction-free nature exposure, and purposeful rest to produce fruit in your life—both personally and professionally.

But I did start living more intentionally. I took life off autopilot and went back to the drawing board. I made space, did a lot of journaling, reflecting, and praying. I prioritized reconnecting with old friends, and deliberately made new ones, too.

Now, I’m committed to surrounding myself with … and using my talent for travel design to bring you in on an experience with me. I’m the friend you love traveling with because she does all the research and planning and thinks of every detail..

But on these retreats, I’m just the sidekick—you’re the main character. I’ll guide conversations and facilitate connection… but you’re the main character.

Hey, I’m Stefanie!

I’m that friend interrupting your busy day with a plea to stop and smell the roses (or wish upon a Dandelion).

After 9.5 years of fast-paced work and lots of travel for the federal government, I made a conscious decision to slow down and align my priorities.

So I quit my job, packed up and moved, bought a fixer-upper, and started my own business!

So, yeah… Things didn’t exactly come to a screeching halt.
